As part of its expansion, Indian Railways introduces Vande Bharat Express operations from Lucknow to Patna, with services set to commence on March 18. The fare scheme for this route and associated destinations has been disclosed, catering to passengers' preferences for both AC chair car and executive class accommodations.
For the Lucknow-Gorakhpur route, the AC chair car fare to Ayodhya Dham is Rs 725, while the executive fare is Rs 1210. Similarly, the fare for the Gomtinagar-Patna route to Ayodhya Dham stands at Rs 545 for AC chair car and Rs 1040 for executive class. Moreover, passengers traveling from Lucknow to Ara will incur an AC chair car fare of Rs 1365 and an executive fare of Rs 2485.
The fares vary further for different segments, such as Lucknow to Varanasi, with the AC chair car priced at Rs 865 and the executive class at Rs 1680. Notably, the fare structure differs for the Patna-Lucknow journey, with the AC chair car fare set at Rs 1540 and the executive class at Rs 2565, reflecting a higher rate compared to the Lucknow-Patna route.
Indian Railways has commenced booking services for the Vande Bharat Express, emphasizing its commitment to providing efficient and comfortable travel options for passengers along the Lucknow-Patna corridor.
